We are looking for a Supply Planning Trainee to join our team of three Planners in Tampere. As a Trainee in Supply Planning, you will play an important role in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between demand and supply chain functions over the summer. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including Sales, Production, Purchasing, Global Logistics, and Business Planning and Analytics, to support efficient operations and continuous improvement. This role provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your expertise in supply chain management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as the link between the demand and supply chain functions.
- Track and monitor the sales project pipeline to align demand forecasts with upcoming projects and opportunities.
- Provide accurate and timely lead time information while ensuring consistent updates.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure material availability to meet production and customer demands.
- Partner with the Global Sales team to understand the timing and probability of potential orders and projects.
- Assist in generating and maintaining reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including shipping accuracy and the effectiveness of production and shipping plans as part of the Sales and Operations Execution (SOE) process.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of supply planning processes while gaining valuable experience in supply chain operations.
What We Are Looking For:
- Relevant ongoing studies in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience gained through summer jobs or alongside studies related to supply chain is considered an advantage
- High motivation and capability to learn and grow
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems, analyze data, and support decision-making.
- Familiarity with Excel and ERP systems; experience with tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in both Finnish and English to interact with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Practicalities:
This is a full-time and fixed-term position from May to the end of August 2025. We hope you can start on May 5th, but the exact dates can be agreed on together to suit the needs of both parties best. The position is located in Tampere and we work with a hybrid model - therefore a readiness to visit The Factory (Framery HQ) actively to work with the team and meet colleagues is required.
