At Valmet, we are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join our Process Insight team, where you'll have the opportunity to drive the continuous development of our industrial self-service analytics tools and applications.
Our Process Insight team works closely together with the Valmet Industrial Internet and Valmet DNAe industrial control system teams, providing data analytics solutions to global customers from all our different customer segments to serve them in developing safer, more reliable and optimized operations with our own end-to-end data analytics stack. Our focus is on sustainable, high-quality designs in projects that span decades, utilizing evolving technologies. We're not about quick turnarounds; we aim for lasting impact with world-class product technology in a global market.
What we ask of you:

You are either an experienced Product Owner or Technical Product Owner in an agile software development team, or you are a Scrum Master or senior developer eager to transition into a Technical Product Owner role

Solid understanding of software development processes and experience in guiding and supporting teams in task implementation

Ability to gather and prioritize requirements originating from both internal and external stakeholders

Ability to own and manage a team backlog to ensure that it aligns with the product vision and our business objectives

Experience in working across functions and communicating with people at many levels of the organization, with other teams and stakeholders

Excellent English language skills are required; proficiency in Finnish is considered an advantage.

Knowledge of web and cloud technologies is considered an advantage, but not required
