Metso is a global leader in Flotation Technology, offering a wide range of equipment and services to support our customers' projects. We have launched Concorde Technology, a new flotation technology for fines and ultra-fines particle flotation. We are also preparing to introduce new flotation technology that will significantly impact the mineral processing plants of the future. Additionally, we are broadening our flotation portfolio to include extended scopes beyond equipment, ensuring better support for our customers' projects.

We are looking for a Technology Manager for Flotation Product Group products and technologies.

As a Technology Manager, you will support new technology sales cases with our internal stakeholders and customers. Collaborating with our Market Area representatives, you will proactively seek new sales opportunities for brownfield and greenfield projects to expand new technologies into the market. In potential cases, you will evaluate the current flowsheet status, identify process streams where new technologies can add value, and develop and propose solutions for our customer projects. Additionally, you will play a key role in defining and offering extended scopes beyond equipment across our entire flotation portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background in minerals processing and flotation and with a commercial interest to get involved in promoting emerging technologies and developing larger solutions for our customers globally. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Front-End Sales, Customer Technical and Commercial Experts, Business Line Technical Experts, Delivery and Engineering Specialists, and Proposals Professionals.

The location is Finland.   

To succeed, you will need

• Solid business and industry understanding with strong customer orientation.
• Preferably 10+ years of experience in flotation.
• Solid technical and holistic understanding of flotation technologies and a willingness to learn more.
• Commercial mindset and interest in transitioning to a more commercial role.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills to work in an international, multi-location organization.
• Effective communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Bachelor's/Master's in minerals processing, metallurgy, or a related field.
