This position reports to Logistics Manager

Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Warehouse / Internal Logistics Manager to Large Motors and Generators division. You plan, direct and monitor all activities in the warehouses located in Helsinki and Espoo. The responsibility area covers developing and managing warehouse operations to effectively controlling the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of products, systems and services to customers. You are skilled in continuously improving warehouse operations through the use of lean practices, as well as planning and optimizing warehouse utilization and inventory. As a team leader you innovatively motivate and develop your team of approximately 20 professionals. Developing talent and engaging in maintaining good working environment and atmosphere are important parts of your role.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Warehouse budget:
- Proposing and managing the annual warehouse budget, operating within approved budget
- Leading the warehouse staff activities to optimize resources and determining actions to cost issues as necessary
Warehouse operations:
- Planning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders and keeps stock control systems up to date
- Overseeing stock control and processes orders
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment
Health, safety and environment (HSE):
- Ensuring that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources
Continuous Inventory Control:
- Implementing and overseeing continuous inventory control processes, including cycle counting, spot checks, and reconciliation of discrepancies to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records

Qualifications for the role
- Solid leadership skills and experience in leading warehouse teams
- Proven experience in warehouse management and inventory control
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in inventory tracking systems, warehouse management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SAP ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for warehouse optimization
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in warehouse processes
- Strong communication skills and the collaboration skills to work effectively with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders
- Fluent Finnish and good English skills
- B.Sc. degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
