Valio International Food Solutions Sales is part of BU Powders, which is part of Valio's Growth Businesses and R&D corporate function. The main function of Valio's International Sales is to:
- Develop international B2B sales and ensure the best value for Valio's ingredient- and value-added ingredient-portfolios
- Manage and develop customer relationships for the outstanding customer experience
- Provide professional and high standard export process of Valio's products to our customers
In Valio's International Food Solutions Sales we have a customer-centric sales teams of Account Managers and Customer Development Managers as well as a Customer Care team to manage order-to-cash process for our international customers and subsidiaries.
Now we are looking for:
Export Coordinator - Customer Care team, fixed-term position (until 31.12.2025)
Valio is the biggest food exporter in Finland. Valio's International Food Solution Sales team is serving industrial and retail customers in 60 different countries. As an Export Coordinator you will have a key role in creating value to customers through Valio's export process. Export Coordinator works independently, but in a close cooperation with Account Managers and Customer Development Managers and other Valio functions and subsidiaries. Together they take care of the named customer accounts, delivering excellent customer service. The Valio HQ is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.
Your key responsibilities as an Export Coordinator:
- Responsibility of order-to-cash process; planning of global customer deliveries for our export markets e.g. B2B customers in Far East and to our subsidiary Valio Shanghai
- Preparing of relevant shipping documentation, electronic customs clearance and invoicing
- Proactive daily communication with international customers, subsidiaries, production, categories, R&D and external stakeholders e.g. authorities and logistic companies
- Active anticipation, monitoring and rapid response to customers' needs
- Handling of customer feedback with production and R&D
- Assisting in opening new markets and export requirements for international trade
- Contributing to development initiatives, projects and piloting when needed
We are looking for candidates with following characters:
- A proactive and innovative approach to work, problem solving skills and flexibility in different situations, ability to question the status quo
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders in English and Finnish, other languages are considered as an advantage
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills even when working with tight schedules
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of the team
- Knowledge and experience in international trade and operations, especially food export requirements can be seen as an asset
- Experience with the usage of SAP is appreciated
- Experience in B2B customer service
- At least Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics or other relevant field
