Job description:

Fortum Consumer Solutions (CoS) is the largest electricity retail business in the Nordics, with approximately 2.2 million customers across different brands in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland and Spain. Our business' core is to provide electricity and related value-added services and new digital services to private and enterprise customers. We are now looking for a New Service and Business Developer in Oslo, Stockholm or Helsinki for our B2B segment. In this role, you will be a member of a Nordic New Service & Business Development team, responsible for exploring and launching new services for Fortum Nordic entrepreneurs and small businesses. The role reports directly to Manager, New Service & Business Development Nordic.

About the role

In your role you will:

  • Together with the team, be accountable for business exploration and new service development and ensure that it is executed in accordance with our strategy.
  • Determine road map for business exploration and new service development, in line with the organization guideline.
  • Lead and participate in work related to all phases of the development of new services aimed at increasing our attractiveness among existing and new customers, from ideation to launch.
  • Be responsible for project budgets in own area.
  • Influence and negotiate with external partners.
  • Collaborate and interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with key stakeholders internally, seeking best practices.

About you

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, e.g. innovation, new service development, business development, project management, management consulting, business/product management, business analytics. Preferably from industries with subscription type of customer relations.
  • Prior experience with B2B business, understanding of business drivers and the Nordic energy market are considered as an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Experience from working with agile methodologies and tools.
  • Strong strategic mindset and business acumen, with a strong drive and target orientation.
  • True team player with proven track record from developing and managing relationships and networks in large complex organizations.
  • Fluency in one of the Nordic languages and English is necessary in this position.
