Our Finance group is responsible for the operative management of the CSC finances. The group consist of 15 financial specialist and controllers. Our daily work covers regulatory accounting, financial reporting, RDI project finance, internal accounting, budgeting and developing our tools and processes.
As a Project Controller you will join RDI Finance team, that works within the Finance group. You will be working mainly in EU funded RDI projects supporting them for the whole project lifetime from proposal preparation to possible financial audits. In this role you will work closely with the project managers as well as the project partner organisations and funders. You will actively take part in the development of the team's tools and guidance material, and participate in organizing in-house training as well as advising the international project consortia with finance related issues.
Your responsibilities will include:

Budgeting new funding proposals

Implementing the financial follow-up and monitoring the use of resources

Communication with the funding organisations and project consortia

Financial reporting to CSC management, project management and to the funding bodies

RDI Finance team's development projects

Organising training on EU project finance

Work experience in financial reporting, accounting and contract negotiations

Knowledge of EC funding instruments, especially Horizon Europe and Digital Europe

University (Bachelor's or Master's) degree in a relevant field

Fluency in Finnish and English

Analytical mindset

Good collaboration skills with external and internal stakeholders

Good communication and presentation skills

Good Excel skills

Organised and productive way of working
